Position Summary
Provides health care services, providing imaging services to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs imaging procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Provides care for patients ranging in age from newborn through geriatric. Provides practical instruction to students.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity
- Following clinical protocols, position patient and equipment using appropriate technical factors to produce computerized tomography images.
- Completes risk assessment for invasive procedures.
- Administer/monitor the administration of contrast materials.
- Practice medical/surgical aseptic technique.
- Follow radiation protection/ safety guidelines.
- Utilize the functions of the Radiology Information System.
- Review Policy and Procedures, protocols, and patient preparation routines.
- Assist supervisor with data collection and regulatory compliance.
- Licensed by ARRT
- CT registry required within one year of hire
- Current ODH License
- BLS certification
- Prior CT experience preferred
- LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
