ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic, conveyor systems, and production machines by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. • Inspects, maintains and diagnosis mechanical and electrical systems of industrial machinery/equipment using a variety of instruments, powered and non-powered tools. o Conducts tests to locate mechanical and Electrical system malfunction. o Troubleshoots malfunctions on production line equipment and make repairs to faulty equipment. o Replacing faulty mechanical components of machine. o Disassembles and reassembles machinery and equipment to make repairs. o Observes and tests the operation of machinery and equipment in order to verify the adequacy of repairs. o Cleans, lubricates and adjusts part, equipment and machinery. • Repairs or replaces defective mechanical parts according to equipment manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications related to equipment • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. • Periodically performs installation of new equipment in compliance to company standards. • Completes work orders of repairs based on work performed.
