Essential Job Duties
COMMUNICATIONS
- Act as primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle and communicate on all client initiatives (internally & externally) in a timely fashion
- Schedule and lead all monthly status update calls for assigned accounts
- Resolve any customer account issues originating from customer calls or internal groups
- Involve assigned Business Development Manager(s) as needed to achieve upsell opportunities, resolve issues, or coordinate deliverables
- Direct and manage the execution of all client projects from inception through completion. Assess job requirements, resources, milestones, and deliverables ensuring collaboration and efficiency throughout. Collaborate with Business Development Manager(s), Custom Content Project Manager(s), Event & Podcast Operations Manager, and other stakeholders to provide experienced-based input to ensure that the client’s strategic objectives are met within the parameters of the project.
- Develop, implement, and manage project plans and communicate objectives, priorities and goals among internal teams to ensure that all client projects are accomplished collaboratively, on-schedule and meet client and company standards.
- As the primary interface with the client, project team, and sales, the project manager proactively monitors and controls project execution with all team members throughout the lifecycle of a job, creates schedules and sets deadlines, collects appropriate materials for execution of services; updates teams on progress, and addresses obstacles and concerns to maintain quality job output.
- Determine resource allocation to ensure that all jobs are managed on budget, on time, and within scope for all projects.
- Accurately track, report and evaluate all client projects, lead internal status review meetings, proactively plan for and update resource needs on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain consistent communication and alert sales and senior management if additional resources are recommended to meet timeline and deliverables, addressing issues as they arise.
- Accountable for internal adherence to workflow and process management focusing on quality, profitability, efficiency, and productivity.
- Effectively employ project management methodology throughout the lifecycle of all jobs ensuring quality control and flawless execution of intermediary and final job submissions.
- Regularly implements executional improvements and shares best practices broadly across the company.
- Bachelor’s Degree, with a concentration in marketing, business administration, or communications or related discipline highly desirable
- 5-7 years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar preferably at B2B marketing agency, publishing company, or web media/digital agency
- Positive, collaborative attitude, with a confidence inspiring approach to problem solving and exceeding customer expectations.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience with project management methodologies, processes, and challenges
- Extremely organized, with a high attention to detail, and a proven track record of strong time management
- Concise, clear verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Highly resourceful, collaborative problem solver and quick learner
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Open to feedback, with an ability to inspire, support and understand people
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members
- Experience working with brand content, content marketing, and/or custom content.
- Ability to educate and inspire clients with possibilities and capabilities of Life Science Connect products and services to help improve their marketing programs.
- Experience using project manager software (Asana) to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Background that includes B2B marketing, agency, and/or business publishing.

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
