The successful Business Development Specialist will have a proven track record in the following areas: Business to Business sales, relationship building, ability to coordinate several sales projects simultaneously, identifying strategic business solutions and the willingness to partner with other departments to achieve success.
Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Involved in presenting solutions at the boardroom level. This could include presentations to HR (Human Resources) Departments and Executives. This will require meticulous planning and proposal writing.
- Your main area of focus will be to generate new leads with the aim of creating more sales. Business Development involves scheduling appointments, preparing and delivering presentations to the client, having researched their business and requirements.
- A Business Development Specialist will work on sales follow-up activities.
- Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting all client needs appropriate to their business, is a key role within Business Development.
- A Business Development Specialist works as part of a team and closely with other departments within the organization to gain strategy and overall success
The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated area of WI (primarily in Madison or within 75 miles)
