Duties and Responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of the Director of Supported Living, the Scheduler is responsible for maintaining Master Workbooks for Permanent and Fill-In Shifts as well as the workbook for Staff’s Permanent Schedules, Scheduler works closely with the SL Coordinators to maintain the efficient use of staff time and overtime at a minimum.
Responsibilities
- Contact staff directly to cover available hours. Relay special instructions to staff regarding the fill-in position, i.e., code to med box, client work schedule, etc.
- Prepare & maintain spreadsheet showing all staff’s permanent scheduled hours
- Compile and maintain a fill-in/PRN pool.
- Work closely with SL Coordinators to ensure minimal overtime for DSPs.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft word, excel
- Ability to communicate written and orally effectively.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Thorough understanding of how this position integrates with the overall care and delivery of the mission of Life Styles
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be computer proficient.
- Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Pre-employment drug screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
