Opportunity
We're seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Online Reputation Manager to lead our online brand presence. As a key member of the marketing team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive ORM strategy, ensuring a positive brand image and fostering strong relationships with our audience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Lead ORM Strategy: Craft a data-driven online reputation management strategy, aligning it with broader marketing and business objectives.
- Proactive Reputation Management: Actively monitor online conversations across diverse platforms, including social media, review sites, news outlets, and online forums. Identify potential threats and opportunities to enhance brand sentiment.
- Crisis Management Leadership: Develop and implement crisis communication plans, leading the internal team's response to potential online reputation crises. Ensure timely, consistent, and transparent communication to all stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze online reputation data, including sentiment analysis, brand awareness, and competitor benchmarking. Generate regular reports that inform strategic decision-making.
- Optimize Social Listening: Leverage social listening tools to uncover audience insights and trends. Utilize these insights to inform event planning, marketing strategies, and content creation.
- Influence Brand Advocacy: Develop and implement programs to encourage brand advocacy, driving positive online reviews and social media engagement.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously research and implement best practices in online reputation management and social media marketing. Identify emerging trends and technologies to optimize brand presence.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in online reputation management or social media marketing, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience developing and implementing comprehensive ORM strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in social media listening tools and data analytics.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and build relationships.
- Experience leading and mentoring a team (preferred).
- A passion for the live events industry (a plus).
