Position Summary
The Corporate Health Coach provides face to face behavioral based health improvement coaching to employees. They manage the day-to-day delivery of established programs with direction from client and Account Managers.
They also develop and facilitate educational programs such as courses, workshops, special events, and interactive educational booths.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews health assessment results and assess readiness to change
- Assists with goal setting, goal progression and strategies to overcome obstacles and barriers
- Provides tailored exercise, nutrition and lifestyle plans to each participant
- Hosts onsite health promotion events
- Attends weekly and monthly team meetings
- Promotes their coaching services by conducting Participant Interactions on their worksites
Position Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience implementing wellness activities
- Strong communications skills, good face-to-face people skills
- Highly motivated with independent problem solving and decision making ability
- Creative energy, excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to maintain multiple projects
- Ability to analyze, interpret and take action on program reports and metrics
