What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty - Chiropractic Sciences position at Life University Inc?
Life University is looking for a dynamic and compassionate individual with excellent communication and collaborative skills to serve as Adjunct Faculty in the Chiropractic Sciences Division. This Faculty is responsible for instruction, supervision, evaluation, and mentoring of students. Supporting course and curriculum development is also critical to this role. The primary instructional focus will be in the disciplines of chiropractic technique, analysis, practice management, and research. A secondary focus in the areas of clinical sciences and basic science lab instruction will be explored based on background and interest.
Responsibilities
- Instruction, supervision, evaluation and mentoring of students in and outside of the classroom and/or laboratory setting.
- Course and curriculum development using assessment results and best practices to guide decisions.
- Cultivate in oneself and others an attitude of helpfulness, personal commitment to building relationships, managing to the best solution, and user friendly always.
Requirements
- Terminal Degree or degrees including the following areas of expertise: Chiropractic, Diagnosis, Clinical Integration, and Radiology
- Certification(s) as applicable.
- Experience in university level instruction.
- Experience in other areas,( e.g., clinical, curriculum development, management)
- Experience or a willingness to teach in an on-line environment.
