JOB SUMMARY:
- The Forensic Interviewer conducts forensic interviews of victims of child sexual abuse and sexual assault, as well as other crimes and exposure to violence.
- In order to support the needs of these victims, as well as the “first response” requirements of Center for Hope's multidisciplinary team partners, this position will also provide, on a rotating, on-call basis, after hours/urgent/emergency forensic interview services.
- The position will also conduct forensic interview training.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline
- Valid Maryland LCSW or LMSW, LCPC or LGPC required, or Psychologist (valid Maryland licensure required)
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to physically respond to on-call interview within 40 minutes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of child development
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities
- Experience in the field of child sexual abuse and trauma
- Experience in the field of Intimate Partner Violence helpful
- Understanding of cultural competency
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Rotating on-call after hours/urgent/emergency forensic interview services required
