What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renal Dialysis Tech - Grace Medical Center position at LifeBridge Health?
JOB SUMMARY:
This position provides limited chronic Hemodialysis treatment for the End stage renal disease (ESRD) patient.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, GED Required.
- Minimum of one-year dialysis experience preferred.
- Current Dialysis Technician Certification by the state certification program or a national commercially available certification program required per these guidelines:
- Demonstrated completions of all applicable state requirements for education training, credentialing, competency, standard of practice, certification, and licensure in the state employed as a dialysis technician required.
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification required.
- Basic computer skills preferred and proficiency in all required computer systems of Grace Medical Center including but not limited to Clinical Visions, EzAccess, and Health stream etc. within 90 days of hire required.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 – 5 years of dialysis experience
- Healthcare experience in freestanding or hospital base unit
