JOB SUMMARY:
- Under moderate supervision, performs diagnostic tests and scanning procedures utilizing ultrasound systems to assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions; perform duties of Ultrasound Technologist as it relates specifically to providing Obstetric-related procedures; explains procedures and special requirements to patient; adjusts equipment and evaluates image.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
- Less than 1 year of experience
- American Heart Association
- CPR Certification
- Registry eligible, must be registered within 1 year of hire
- OB Ultrasound preferred but not required
