Coordinates and manages medical staff organizational, administrative, and credentialing functions.
Coordinates all Medical Staff Meetings and Committees as directed by the Director of Quality/PI.
Conducts new applicants through credentialing process.
Maintains medical staff credentials files/PI files.
Liaison between medical staff and administration.
Reports to: Director of Risk Management
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Credentialing experience preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
CPCS - Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist or equivalent, preferred.
