LifeSpring Health Systems is seeking a full-time, 2nd Shift Lead Mental Health Technician for our Turning Point Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This position will work 3:30pm-12:00am and collaborate with the 1st Shift Lead Tech to alternate weekly schedules and weekends: 1st Week will be Wednesday-Sunday; 2nd week will be Mon-Fri. Turning Point is a residential program that specializes in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. Candidates must have excellent personal and professional boundaries and be committed to person-centered, trauma-informed care. This position has many responsibilities including: making schedules for all three shifts of technicians every month, taking call-ins, finding replacements or working the shift if a replacement cannot be found, running fire drills and all other monthly required safety and maintenance items and document same, complete inventory and ordering all cleaning supplies, linens, etc., complete shift checklists from technicians and spot check for accuracy, act as liaison with technicians and staff, and other duties as assigned. Computer skills are required; experience working with Electronic Medical Records desired. The successful candidate will preferrable have a Bachelor's degree; an associate’s degree in human services OR at least 2 years experience as a mental health technician – preferably working with substance abuse clients, is required. Covid vaccination is required.
