Lifesteps, a local non-profit, human services agency, is currently seeking a strong Direct Care Supervisor to oversee a community home in Indiana, PA.
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and handling the day to day activities of the community home and the care of our client(s) with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position is responsible for the direct supervision of house staff and provides hands-on care as part of the direct care team.
This Full-Time position works Daylight (7am-3pm)
Community Home Supervisor Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years’ experience working in a human service or customer service field
- At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with a Mental Health diagnosis
- Current driver’s license
- Obtain a Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire
- First Aid/CPR certified within 6 months of hire
Preferred:
- Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience working in a human service or customer service field
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year experience working in a human service or customer service field
- Supervisory experience and knowledge of 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 regulations (or equivalent regulations)
