Lifetime Dentistry of Port Orange is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced dental team. As a Dental Hygienist at Lifetime Dentistry, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the oral health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough and gentle dental cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Conduct routine x-rays and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with dentists and hygienists to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment options and providing personalized care.
Requirements:
- Current dental hygienist license in Florida.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening.
- CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 0 years of clinical experience.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
