Pleasanton Assistant Instructor - Part Time
Description:
The ideal candidate has an engaging personality, a passion for the game of tennis and enjoys helping and interacting with kids of all ages. A willingness to contribute and operate within a team-based environment is essential to this role.
Skills, Qualities and Experience:
- A fun, friendly and welcoming attitude that children respond well to is a must
- The ability to communicate effectively and appropriately to a group of children
- Patience when dealing with students that are new to the sport
- Ability to follow a lesson plan and safety guidelines
- Ability to work with a wide range and variety of skill levels (with a focus on beginning through intermediate skill levels)
- Previous coaching experience and a solid playing ability is a plus
- A wide range of games and drills to get students moving and having fun
- A strong work-ethic that includes being punctual and professional at all times
- Reliable transportation
NOTE: This position is required by law to submit to a consumer investigative report. Applicants are also subject to a health screening, following a conditional offer of employment.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position aimed at approximately 10 - 20 hours per week with emphasis on both Saturday's and after school weekday shifts.
**Schedule and number of hours assigned are subject to change according to the needs of the business and can vary seasonally or session by session.**
Pay Range:
$23 - $26.14 / hour
Site Operating Hours -
Monday - Friday:
8am - 10pm
Saturday:
8am - 9pm
Sunday:
8am - 8pm
