What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Light of Christ Catholic Schools?
Accepting applications for a self-motivated individual to fill a full-time custodian position. Duties include general cleaning and upkeep of the building and grounds to provide a safe, comfortable and clean place for students to learn. This includes routine vacuuming, cleaning and stocking restrooms, building sanitation, and may include some lawn work and snow removal. This position requires employee to be on his/her feet most of the shift. Employee is regularly required to bend, stoop, twist and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Must also be comfortable working with young people. Hours will generally be from late morning, or early afternoon, to evening. May include occasional weekend events (sporting games, concerts, etc.).
