Since 1952, Light of Life Rescue Mission has been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area. We are seeking a full-time Cook to be a part of the Mission's exciting growth as we offer food services at multiple sites.
As well as preparing food, this individual plays a vital role working alongside residential guests, overseeing and teaching them basic food service and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Cooking and warming meals according to meal plan
- Maintaining kitchens at multiple sites per direction of supervisor
- Functioning as a caterer, delivering food by driving Light of Life vehicles.
- Ability to adapt and thrive during peak times of meal prep and service
- Working alongside residential guests assigned to Meal Ministry
- Oversee work of volunteers and interns
