Semi dump truck operator

Seeking experienced semi dump truck operator

Full time 5 days/week. No electronic logs. No Saturday/ Sunday. Paid Holidays , 1 week vacation after 3 months. Variable work schedules available. OT after 10 hr/day

Home Nightly

Responsibilities

• Transport aggregate materials over land to and from customers and facilities, all within 150 air miles.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
• Daily logs must be filled out by Driver

Skills

• Proven work experience as a semi truck driver
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Heavy equipment experience a plus.
• Valid Class A Commercial driving license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
