What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Lightcast?
As a Custodian in the office at Lightcast, you will be a valuable member of our facility management team, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe office environment. This role is ideal for experienced custodians with at least 1 years of experience who are dedicated to ensuring a pleasant and well-kept workspace for our employees.
\n- Office Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, offices, and restrooms.
- Trash Disposal: Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with established procedures.
- General cleaning experience
- Furniture cleaning, snow removal, landscaping, mopping
- Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring that they are well-stocked.
- Maintenance Support: Report and assist in the resolution of minor facility maintenance issues.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a secure and hazard-free office environment.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience as a Custodian, preferably in an office environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication
- Capability to lift 50 lbs daily
