Description :
Production Worker / Packaging Operator
Salary : $15-17 depending on experience
Shift : Day and Night shift available
Job Type : Full-time
Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
- Responsible for assisting and operating machinery in multiple production departments
- Operate in a productive manner using the established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Move and wrap completed products.
- Will be lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for a minimum of 7 hours per day
- Communicate any moisture or material problems to Shift Lead.
- Maintain a clean workstation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Production Worker / Packaging Operator Qualifications / Education :
- Prior experience with industrial machinery and equipment is preferred
- Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
- Will require good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
- Will need to pass the company forklift training.
- Required to read and interpret scales.
- Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust the weight and timing of baler and various other simple maintenance problems.
- Requires the ability to do simple math calculations.
