Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Compensation: $24/hr

The Role:
Likely is looking for a talented temp-to-perm Contract Packaging Graphic Designer to join our design team at our Pasadena HQ. This role will support our Lead Creative on both ongoing client projects and internal branding initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who loves packaging, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to learn about production-ready design.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Lead Creative to develop packaging concepts for luxury and premium brands.
- Create and refine dielines, structural packaging layouts, and print-ready artwork files.
- Assist in preparing production files for our manufacturing partners.
- Support internal branding, marketing collateral, and promotional design projects.
- Take ownership of tasks from concept to execution with a strong eye for detail.
- Learn and grow within the production side of packaging, including material selection, print techniques, and file preparation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for packaging design and branding within the luxury or consumer goods space.
- Experience with dielines (academic or professional) and willingness to learn more about production files and ready-to-print artwork.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- A designer who is not afraid to step outside of their comfort zone to learn the full packaging development process.
- Strong attention to detail, typography, and layout.
- Ability to work on-site full-time and collaborate with a small but fast-paced creative team.
Bonus Points:
- Previous internship or entry-level experience in packaging or graphic design.
- Knowledge of specialty printing processes (foil stamping, embossing, spot UV, etc.).
- Interest in branding, marketing, and design trends.
