Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Under minimal supervision to perform highly diversified duties such as overseeing the activities of the Maintenance Team members. Inspecting the ongoing, completed and future tasks corresponding to repairs, troubleshoot, and maintaining of production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Provide necessary guide and assistance to Maintenance team members on unscheduled(emergency) repairs of production equipment during production and on scheduled repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Mentoring Mechanics with best practices, root cause analysis and process improvement.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines and equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance to optimize performance of all packinghouse equipment.
• Must be able to diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as necessary.
• Knowledgeable in usage of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Communicate with management regarding mechanical problems and repairs; observe operations to detect malfunctions of the machines and make adjustments or repairs to the machines when needed.
• Although this position requires full hands on equipment, the candidate must be able to delegate, put detailed plans together and maintain PM cycles.
