What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Development Specialist position at Lincoln Trail Area Development Distirct?
Lincoln Trail Area Development District (LTADD), a multi-jurisdictional, planning and development agency, is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to serve as Community Development Specialist. Position provides direct support and coordination within the Community Development department. Required: a Bachelor of Science in Planning, Public Administration, Government, or related field and, at least one (1) year related experience. Preferred: Master’s Degree from an accredited university in Planning, Public Administration, Government, or related field and at three (3) years of related experience.
Areas of work concentration include community planning and development with emphasis on State and Federal programs. Must have grant writing and project administration skills, be able to handle multiple projects, and work effectively with staff, public officials and general public; and, provide technical assistance in the areas of data collection, report formulation and analysis.
