Our busy, state-of-the-art orthodontic practice in Florissant, MO is searching for a Full-Time Orthodontic Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages in a fun, supportive environment.

If you have experience with scanning, placing wires, bonding, or digital photography—great! If not, we’ll provide the training you need.
Schedule:
- Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Orthodontic Dental Assistant Duties:
- Maintaining accurate records of patients' oral health histories and treatment progress.
- Ensuring that all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use.
- Keeping patients’ mouths dry during orthodontic procedures by using a suction hose as needed.
- Taking pan/ceph x-rays and ITero digital scans.
- Taking photographs of patients’ teeth to aid the Orthodontist in developing treatment plans and to document patient progress.
- Taking dental molds of patients’ teeth for the fabrication of customized mouth guards and retainers.
- Removing and replacing wires, coil springs, donuts, and elastic bands.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
