Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for paid advertising, social media marketing, brand management, event coordinator/planning, and product videos & content. They will also work on website maintenance, monitor analytics, and develop original content and promote all three departments at Lindstrom Equipment (Equipment Sales, Parts, & Service Departments)

Job Requirements:

• Prior Marketing experience a plus but not absolutely necessary
• Agricultural industry knowledge would be helpful
• Experience with the use of creative design programs
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Energetic, self driven personality with strong writing/storytelling skills
• Ability to think outside the box and be creative

Job Responsibilities:

• Handles and designs material for communication to radio, television, and online, with input from leadership team. Follows all co-operative ad guidelines established by manufacturers. Also manages pre-approval, submission and tracks reimbursement for paid ads.
• Communicates a positive brand image for Lindstrom Equipment with engaging messaging and consistent logo usage.
• Oversees placement for all advertising channels as well as streaming, search, display, and paid social campaigns to ensure a thorough, successful marketing plan. Works with media vendors to reach current and prospective customers throughout our PAR (primary area of responsibility).
• Will be required to be active with social platforms, creating regular content to keep customers engaged
• Helps maintain website, and keeps content fresh.
• Helps with promoting LEI for recruitment programs.
• Develops promotional campaigns that coincide with the marketing strategies
• Conducts research to analyze competitive landscape and helps promote ecommerce business
• Attend trade/farm shows and marketing trainings (1-3/year at the most)
• Stays current with marketing trends, methods, and best practices. Also, taking note of competitors marketing tactics.
• Will spend time at both our Menomonie and Mondovi locations
