Key Responsibilities:

- Design and build custom-sized crates according to client specifications and shipping requirements.
- Utilize various power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns, to assemble crates.
- Ensure all crates are built to high standards of durability and safety.
- Accurately measure materials and space to ensure precise crate dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine appropriate crate dimensions and materials.
- Plan and layout work to maximize material usage and minimize waste.
- Inspect finished crates for defects or inconsistencies.
- Ensure all crates meet company standards and client specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs to meet quality requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when operating power tools and handling materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand and meet their specific needs.

- Proven experience as a crate builder or in a similar carpentry role.
- Proficiency with power tools and woodworking equipment.
- Strong understanding of measurements, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Prolonged standing, bending, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Full-time position with regular hours; occasional overtime may be required.
- Warehouse or workshop setting with exposure to noise, dust, and other typical conditions.
