The LinkedIn API Program enables customers and partners to maximize their performance on LinkedIn and is a core part of how we plan to scale LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions business into the future. We are looking for a Customer Solutions Engineer to play a key role in scaling this Program globally with a focus on advertiser demand and the Media Agency landscape. Within the Marketing ecosystem, Agencies serve a crucial business function, often relied on for the creation, planning, and activation of campaigns on behalf of their clients. As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you will operate as the connective tissue between LinkedIn Marketers, Advertising Agencies, and our API ecosystem, helping marketers grow and advance their business through partner solutions or direct integrations.
Responsibilities
- Work with sales and partner teams to interpret customer requirements and deliver integrated solutions that will drive end-customer success.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic partners; build trust through your deep technical expertise of their platforms and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functionally with Agency Leads and Product teams to develop, manage and grow partner relationships with a focus on technical aspects (i.e. technical presentations, trainings, consultations, and best practices).
- Be an expert on LMS’ API capabilities and partner offerings from a technical lens; partner with sales teams to recommend and up-sell partner solutions and deploy or advance successful customer integrations.
- Advocate for API improvements with internal product and partner engineering teams that will benefit end-customers; highlight issues, trends, and opportunities for integration enhancements.
- Develop integration guides and best practices to accelerate API adoption, improve time to-revenue and deliver a great customer experience.
- Maintain subject matter expertise on marketing technology and API trends.
Qualifications
Exceptional candidates will have a strong background building impactful relationships, designing and/or advocating solutions to common challenges across the marketing technology landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative major, including Marketing or Engineering
- 7 years’ experience in troubleshooting technical issues in a client facing role
- Minimum 3 years working with AdTech/marketing technology platforms OR API partner and developer programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Solutions Engineering or Technical Consulting is strongly preferred
- Experience either working directly within or building solutions into the Agency ecosystem
- Experience working with development technologies including Java, .Net, XML, REST, OAuth, XML, etc.
- Proficiency in online media, ad technology, marketing technology and API partner and developer programs.
- Proven track record of solving complex technical problems and providing an excellent experience for customers in the process.
- Passionate about partner ecosystems and businesses; you enjoy staying informed about industry advances and new innovations in the space.
- Skilled in interacting with sales/partner business leads and technical stakeholders and translating complex customer needs.
- Excellent communicator; experience in technical writing.
- Outstanding organizational and planning skills, demonstrated ability to work with complex cross-functional teams and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a rapidly growing and changing environment.
- Enthusiastic, can-do attitude; enjoy working with customers, solving their problems, and innovating in a fast-paced environment

As required by C.R.S. § 8-5-201(2): (Colorado only) The minimum pay for this role is $154,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
