What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Prep position at Liquid Lenny's Customs?
We are a family owned custom golf cart paint shop located in Oldsmar, Fl. We are currently looking for one EXPERIENCED, professional auto body prep person for our very busy custom paint shop.
Responsibilities:
Assist painters in all aspects of preparation of the plastic bodies for painting; blocking, sanding, masking, filling chips, etc.
Wet sand and high speed buff freshly painted bodies
Work closely with painters mixing paint and prepping parts
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Treat all customers and employees with a professional attitude and respect at all times
Qualifications:
Experience is required.
Knowledge of cleaning of panels, sanding and filling chips prior to painting
Experience in masking and taping, wet sanding and blocking procedures
Good communication skills, positive attitude and maturity is a must
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to adjust focus as needed
Effective time management and organizational skills with attention to detail is needed
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Predictable and reliable attendance required
