Job Summary
The Account Manager is the primary liaison for our valued dealers, contractors, and end customers, ensuring exceptional experience with our high-quality athletic facility equipment throughout the sales and service lifecycle. This role goes beyond order entry and issue resolution—our Account Managers build and maintain strong relationships, identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to continuous process improvements. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that requires a strategic, customer-centric mindset, and the ability to manage complex relationships.

Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of experience in account management, key account service, or B2B sales, preferably within a manufacturing or sports equipment environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while paying close attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and confident demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A positive, assertive, and customer-centric attitude with a passion for building lasting relationships.
- A self-starter who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently.
- Ability to travel occasionally (<10%) for customer visits and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing all aspects of the customer relationship.
- Proactively engage customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for additional value.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and issue resolution.
- Process and manage purchase orders with accuracy; maintain records in ERP system.
- Analyze order patterns and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Handle product returns (RMAs), pricing inquiries, and claim investigations in collaboration with Quality and Finance teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for service processes and customer engagement.
- Support sales presentations and customer training sessions to strengthen dealer and contractor partnerships.
Working Conditions
- The position is based in an indoor office environment.
- Requires heavy interaction with clients via telephone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Requires extended periods of sitting at a computer terminal.
- Must be able to work well with others in a team environment and maintain an approachable demeanor, even in stressful situations.
