What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician position at Litchfield CUSD #12?
Responsibilities:
- Will report to the behavior analyst
- Provide social, physical, and academic support, in special and general educational settings as well as all other school settings
- Provide support for students both in large and small group instruction
- Implement and record data for ABA teaching programs and behavior intervention plans
- Assist with behavioral assessments including but not limited to preference assessments, skills assessments, and functional assessments
- Will assist the teachers in the classroom while working with specific students by delivering reinforcement and prompting procedures
- Collect and record data on skills targeted
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision
- Will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- Assist with daily living skills such as following routines, toileting, eating, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.72 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
