What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Toddler Teacher position at Little Angels Daycare?
Little Angels Daycare in Pooler is currently hiring for a full-time assistant teacher in our one-year-old classroom. Hours will be 8:30AM-5:30PM, Monday through Friday.
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off (vacation/sick time), holiday pay, and paid training.
Qualifications/Responsibilities/Duties:
- Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a quick thinker and be able to work in stressful, fast paced situations. This classroom has 11 young toddlers.
- Must be patient, loving and have a genuine love for children.
- Must be a team player and be able to get along with others (There is a lead teacher in this class)
- Have at least three months of experience in a licensed childcare facility.
- Must have CPR/First Aid/Fire Safety certification or must be able to attend a CPR/First Aid/Fire Safety class within the first 90 days of employment. (We pay for training.)
- Must be able to follow Bright from the Start rules and regulations and the center's rules and regulations.
- Must be able to bend, pick-up babies/toddlers, sit at their level, be able to stand/be on your feet.
- Must be dependable and have a positive attitude.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check.
