Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage patient records and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and financial management for the clinic.
- Coordinate schedules for healthcare providers and manage appointment systems.
- Implement practice management software solutions (specifically Dentrix) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between staff, patients, and external vendors.
- Ensure a clean and organized office environment that promotes productivity.
Skills
- Proficiency in healthcare management practices, particularly within a clinic or acute care setting.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on budgeting and financial oversight.
- Knowledge of practice management software, specifically Dentrix, or similar systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous dental practices is a plus.
