Little City Foundation is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals in Palatine, IL.

In this role, you will provide instruction to the youth through implementation of the scientific principles of behavior analysis (ABA therapy) across all hours of the youths’ day and in all environments to improve quality of life outcomes.
Job Duties:
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals who develop curricula and provide instruction to maximize youths’ skills and independence
- Implement educational programs and behavior management guidelines in a 1:1 or small group format
- Implement behavior analytic teaching procedures in the residence and community
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or a disability related field, preferred
- Successful completion of Direct Support Professional within 120 days of hire and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and certification within 90 days of hire, required
- Experience using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), preferred
- Current valid driver’s license, required
Pay Rate:
- Base pay: $17-18/hour
- RBT training: $17-18 upon successful completion of 40 hrs (paid) online Residential Behavior Technician training and RBT Competence Assessment within 45-60 days of hire
- RBT certification: $4/hour added to base pay upon successful completion of the Illinois RBT Certification examination to become a Registered Behavior Technician
