We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. This role is essential in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. As a Childcare Provider, you will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants through school-aged children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children.
- Observe and document children's development milestones and behaviors.
Skills
- First aid certification is preferred.
- Experience working with people with disabilities is a plus.
- Proficient in toddler care, infant care, and early childhood education principles.
- Strong background in teaching or caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting.
- Familiarity with classroom settings or daycare environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
- Ability to manage behaviors effectively while fostering a supportive atmosphere.
