What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher position at Little Explorers Learning Center?
Our school is looking for an Assistant Teacher to assist with the classroom needs of our students, which includes overseeing the playground and lunch periods, creating classroom and hallway displays, and taking part in general office work. The ideal candidate for this position is a trained Early Childhood Educator who has experience creating rewarding child-focused activities, and has the ability to connect with children to promote positive behavior.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with teachers.
- Conduct classroom and administrative duties.
- Coach students in competitive sports.
- Examine and record height, weight, vision and hearing of students.
- Inform teachers of student performance.
- Perform other duties as requested by the teacher or principal.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
