Job Summary:

Requirements:
- Nursing Assistant (NAR) on the MN State Registry in good standing or the ability and plan to complete Nursing Assistant course work and/or complete skills and written competency testing in accordance with regulations and care center policy.
Resident Care Requirements:
- Participate in and receive the nursing report upon reporting to duty.
- Follow written NAR procedure for designated shift.
- Attend to daily care needs per each resident’s plan of care (e.g. bathing, oral care, hair care, nail care, transfers, feeding, ambulation, R.O.M., elimination needs, intake, output, catheter care, dressing, turning and repositioning, collection of specimens, weights and taking vital signs) and document the care each time it is provided.
- Follow established policies/procedures for performing all cares.
- Provide considerate and respectful care, preserving the personal dignity, modesty and privacy of the resident and family.
