What are the responsibilities and job description for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten Teacher position at Little Harvard?
We are a NYS licensed Preschool and Childcare Center located in New Windsor, NY. We currently collaborate with the Newburgh Enlarged City School District to service Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) students in a full day program. We are looking to hire an individual who holds a NYS teacher certification (B - 2, B - 6, or PreK - 6), OR an individual currently working on completing their teacher certification to take the lead in one of our Universal PreKindergarten classrooms. This individual would be required to train in Creative Curriculum, as well as Pyramid Module. In addition, they will need to complete 15 hours of training per year which is required by New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). Upon being hired you must complete a Comprehensive Background Check Screening, including fingerprinting. You must also have a physical within the last 12 months and a TB (Tuberculin) test. This position can be a 10 month or 12 month position. Individual hired is to begin employment as soon as possible. Rate of pay will be based on experience, certification and education.
