Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational programs. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to implement literacy education and behavior management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and early childhood learning.
- Provide high-quality toddler care, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.
- Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Assess children's progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations.
- Support children with special education needs by adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning requirements.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive play and structured activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns regarding behavior or development.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience in childcare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies and standardized testing procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
