What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Teacher position at Little Lights Childcare Center?
Little Lights Childcare is currently seeking Infant/Toddler Teachers to care, nurture, and support children as they grow and develop. Little Lights Childcare seeks everyday to filter our passion for Learning, our Love for Children, and support of families through the light of Jesus Christ.
- Must be creative, innovative, and flexible
- Be silly, love to dance and sing, and think outside the box
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Responsible for the daily supervision and care of a primary group of 4 children
- Implement principles of age appropriate and developmentally appropriate practice in the daily care of children
- Communicate daily with parents
- Keep the classroom safe and clean by following LLCC procedures and guidelines
- Work well within a team
- A desire to learn and grow
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience working in child care or preschool preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must pass a Virginia Fingerprint Background check
- A great communicator
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Hayes, VA 23072: Relocate before starting work (Required)
