We are seeking part-time Physical Therapists who are licensed in NYS to provide direct services to young children aged from birth to three years old through NYC’s Early Intervention Program.
Job Details
Responsibilities Include:
· Delivering direct care services, in-person, to children birth to 3-years old, 1 to 3 times weekly in 30-minute sessions
· Develop creative programs and activities for children with developmental disabilities in order to improve social and cognitive functions
· Encourage the child’s participation in in goal-orientated activities
· Develop Treatment Plans to address child’s needs and help meet specific goals
· Work closely with families to provide information and skills necessary to enhance the development of the child
· Assessing the school/home environment if possible and recommending adaptations to improve independence and wellness
· Work with families and other service providers to achieve a child’s IFSP or EIP goals
· Participate in IEP meetings and other meetings as needed
· Provide services in home, school-based and daycare centers
· Daily data collection
· Maintain regular progress reports and attend meetings related to the child
Requirements:
· Licensed in New York State as a Physical Therapist
· Early Intervention Physical Therapist experience: 3 years preferred
· Experience writing session notes and reviewing IFSP’s preferred
· Strong Clinical and Personal Skills
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Good technical skills and the ability to learn new databases
Education:
· Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (Required)
Preferred:
· Bilingual a plus
· Experience working in home-based programs, schools, or daycare centers

Job Types and Compensation:
· W2 and 1099
· W-2 rate: $55 per 30-minute session
· 1099 rate: $65 per 30-minute session
