Aftercare Program Instructor

Little Medical School - Aftercare Instructor:
 

Help us INSPIRE young minds at Little Medical School in Kennesaw, Woodstock, Alpharetta, Powder Springs, Smyrna, Roswell, and other North Atlanta locations. 
 

We are looking for motivated individuals to lead a series of one-hour classes featuring interactive demonstrations, crafts, and games that teach kids how the body and organs work, about real instruments that doctors use, apply first aid procedures, tie knots like real surgeons, and so much more!

All curriculum and supplies are provided. We even provide you with training videos of most of the activities.

We offer ideal job opportunities for pre-med school and nursing students, but a medical background is not necessary. We will train you!

Previous experience working with children is preferred.

All instructors must undergo background checks at the request of the school districts we serve.

All training is provided, and scheduling is flexible. You only teach the classes that fit into your schedule.

Hourly pay as an independent contractor(1099)

Key Duties:
 

• Ensuring a safe and healthy environment

• Creating a welcoming and youth-friendly classroom space

• Providing positive interaction with students with an emphasis on health and science

• Picking up and returning supplies to the LMS Territory Manager

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must be prompt and on-time

• Hours worked will vary depending on the number of classes/parties/camps taught

We always add new classes, so we will have an ongoing need to fill this role.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Compensation: $30 - $40 per day

Expected hours: 1 - 3 per week
