Job Responsibilities:
*Ensure proper safety and supervision of children at all times
*Knowledge of DHS regulations and QRIS standards
*Create stimulating and developmentally appropriate lesson plans while meeting the individual needs of each child
*Communicate effectively with parents to build positive relationships with family and children
*Communicate effectively with co- teachers, staff team, and management
*Promote positive guidance techniques within the classroom
*Maintain organization and cleanliness of classroom and all toys
*Participation in staff meetings and training to further education
*Interact with children to support play, exploration, and learning
Qualifications:
*Must hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
*Must have a physical on file permitting physical and mental ability to work with children
*Must be able to pass a criminal background check
*Experience in child care setting is preferred, but not required
*Upbeat, energetic, and reliable individuals who love children
