Ophthalmic Medical Technician position requires utilization of clinical knowledge to assist Ophthalmologists by performing eye related clinical tasks such as: taking patient medical history, instructing patients about medications, performing vision and diagnostic tests, assisting with patient procedures, coordinating patient scheduling, and training other ophthalmic personnel.
Requirements:
The Ophthalmic Technician must be able to respond to both written and oral correspondence regarding patients in a timely, accurate manner. This individual must be organized, able to manage demanding workload with accuracy, and be willing to travel to any of our three locations. High school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of relevant work experience is preferred.
