We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and providing exceptional service to enhance the dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an organized and clean bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Interact with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Process transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system, ensuring timely service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Uphold health and safety regulations within the bar area, including cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of culinary principles related to beverage preparation is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
