System Engineer

Role Overview:

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations for our clients, working with modern platforms/systems, an advanced cloud environment, and a collaborative team of Systems Engineers. This position offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to build and expand their technical skills in a fast-paced, support-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, and other office technology
2. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory
3. Support network domains and address basic networking issues
4. Assist clients via phone, email, or remote support in a clear, professional manner
5. Provide guidance and training on software applications as needed
6. Collaborate with the IT team to maintain, support, and enhance IT infrastructure
7. Assist with IT projects, including planning, deployment, upgrades, and coordination with internal teams or third-party vendors
8. Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Strong foundational IT knowledge (CompTIA A level or equivalent experience)
2. Experience working with Windows desktop and server environments
3. Proficiency with Active Directory and domain management
4. Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, DHCP, IP addressing, etc.)
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in client-facing situations
6. Ability to independently troubleshoot hardware and software issues

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with document management systems (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments, Worldox)
2. Previous experience supporting legal or professional services clients
3. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft, Cisco, or DMS certifications)
