Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team in our Compounding Department. As a Cleaning Technician in Pharmaceutical Compounding, the individual filling this role will be responsible for following directions and be able to work independently in cleaning activities in the manufacture of pharmaceutical and nutritional products. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas in compounding areas of production.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective cleaning processes.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or production role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
