Objectives
- Make payoff arrangements with customers to avoid or postpone vehicle repossession.
- Follow up on previously made payment arrangements as necessary.
- Using new/updated information provided through your skip-tracing efforts, regularly follow up on outstanding repossession orders to ensure agents are pursuing vehicles.
- Generate fresh location leads for our vehicle repossession agents
- Meet production metrics in a fast-paced and growing department
- Locate and engage the customer in negotiations and/or vehicle surrender while meeting strict company guidelines and federal guidelines under the Fair Debt and Collections Protection Act.
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed.
- 3 to 5 years of late-stage auto loan or secured-lending collections
- Familiarity with computer/internet, MS Word and Excel.
- Skip-tracing programs such as Experian, US Tracers, and/or Clear
- Professional communication techniques that balance your ability to provide positive customer service while yielding recovery results.
- Ability to adapt to ever-changing pool of past-due accounts with respect to the difficulty and complexity of the accounts.
- Reliable high-speed internet, secure Wi-Fi, and a stable power source to prevent disruptions.
- Secure, private workspace suitable for company equipment that is free of interruptions and background noise.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow all security protocols.
- Ability and consent to participate in virtual meetings and remote monitoring.
- Fully remote, full time position in Nevada. Occasional Saturday work and overtime required.
