What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Clerk position at Local 150 Operating Engineers?
SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of clerical duties according to established policies and procedures along with assisting the Accounts Receivable Supervisor in various duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for daily mail processing, window transactions and daily processing of bank deposits.
Window duties for members’ dues payment
· All phases of customer service regarding dues for members, companies, business agents and all district offices.
· Assist in communication pertaining to members disability credit eligibility, retirement status change, and arrangements for deceased members.
· Assist in scanning hard copy documents to member records.
EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or completion of a G.E.D.
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
· Oral and written communications skills.
· Interpersonal relations skills.
· Personal computer and keyboarding skills.
· Customer service skills, public relations skills, and professionalism.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, use time efficiently, and demonstrate attention to details.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATING KNOWLEDGE:
· Operating knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Operating knowledge of and experience with typical office equipment, such as telephones, copier, fax machine, e-mail, etc.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
Salary Range: $37,274.00 - $44,346.00
Pay: $37,274.00 - $44,346.00 per year
