**Duties:**
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products within the store. - Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions. - Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of store products and services. - Upsell and promote products to customers. - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly. - Process customer returns and exchanges. - Participate in visual merchandising, restocking shelves, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. - Stay up-to-date on new products and promotions. - Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required. - Proficiency in retail math and basic math skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent customer service skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. - Experience in a retail store is preferred. - Bilingual or multilingual skills in Spanish or other languages are a plus. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and sales techniques. - Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented personality.
